Operations could produce infinite amounts of goods if it there would not be constraints of cash, floor space, people, machines, materials, orders etc. Usually there are only few such constraints which dominate the operational performance of an enterprise.

    We are focused on identifying such constraints, and
    We are focused on attacking the vital few limitations ...

...rather than getting distracted by a book full of ”issues” or spreading out thin all resources available. This way we manage to fix the real ”fires” and help improve the situation in a speedy manner.
